My Dwin HD700 has several problems that I've posted about. Most of them have to do with the set not being "silent" like it supposed to be. One problem is a constant electric crackling sound coming from the back of the CRT which Dwin claims will eventually go away but I doubt.

Another problem is a buzzing sound coming from all three yokes. I've heard that it may be possible to eliminate the buzz by generously applying lacquer or plumbers glue to the copper wiring around the yoke. Has anyone had any experience with something like this or with any other techniques to eliminate the buzzing sound?

Thanks,
Bruce
