I just set up one of these for my G/F and she asked me how to clean it. I just gave here the blank stare Shocked and told her not to touch it.

Then, for once, I had to tell her there was something technical I didn't know. ( ohhh the shame Embarassed )

SO, humbly, how do you clean this screen material?

I have never had to use anything but water and a very soft towel. Mostly just to get dust off. And it has always worked well. Similar to step 2 in the linked instructions, only with plain water.
