Will a 701s input tray run in a 708?

Well, I'm getting closer to having this thing running. I have high voltage, and nothing but green lights everywhere. It just won't put a picture on the CRTs. Can I safely put my 701s input tray with the input, sync and comb filter boards into a 708 without smoking anything for a quick test?

No, those are usually set specific. Chances are it won't work at all.
