Graphics grade, 15-93 kHz , point convergence included (not optional)

Sorry, tried to post a link to the page where I found this info but it wouldn't work.

When I google 'nec pg 9100', one of the first links is to crtinfo. Following that site, I scrolled down to the 9100 and clicked on "What IS the Difference?"

It also says "NEC MultiSync 9PG Plus" on the back

Here's a link to the "brochure":
http://www.curtpalme.com/docs/NECPG6_PG9_PG10_Brochure.pdf

despite the file name it really is for the 6PG Plus, 9PG Plus and 10PG

PG9100G = NEC MultiSync 9PG Plus

The second one must have been more useful for marketing Smile

"G" indicates that it is the 220-240V model.

It's like banging your head against a brick wall....

It's a PLUS. And if it has good tubes it's worth about a grand.

I have a 6pg, which is very similar. 720p is the best rez on the projector imo. Once properly setup, it throws an awesome pic.

a PG6000 or PG9000 will probably look best at 1080i60 or 1080i72

a PG6100, PG6200, PG9100 or PG9200 will look best at either 1080i60, 1080i96 (or 1080p48)

Mike,
Do you not believe what everyone is saying? I think my 9+ had the 9100 sticker, but I can't remember as it was removed when I painted it.

I am not sure if I can how high in resolution I can go, as ..... wait do I hear my eggs scrambling:). Seriously, I use 1080i60 from directv. I tried some higher resolutions, but it did go scrambled. I haven't tried 96, but maybe I can get that without scrambling.

I'd run 1080i 72hz.

But Kai actually has a Plus/9100.

I should say I have never tried 1080i on my 6PG, since my source does not output 1080i over VGA. I can say 720p looks great, and I can see the scan lines when I am somewhat close to the screen.
