I have purchased a lg dvd equipped with an hdmi output,and i have not been able to connect the device to my plasma tv input dvi,however i could connect same to the component on the plasma and it work well.
The problem for non connection through the dvi input on the plasma is apparently the plasma is not HDCP compliant,my plasma do have RGB input and i have been able to connect my laptop,and it displays well.
I would like to know if you have a solution to this problem.As i also want to acquire a blu-ray disc player this month i really need a solution as i would not be able to enjoy the best of pictures on the plasma which does not have a HDMI input,is not HDCP compliant ,and is not presently working from my dvd hdmi to dvi plasma....looking forward for a solution from you
