Using an S-Hook to shorten the chain
Using an S-Hook to shorten the chain
Title: Using an S-Hook to shorten the chain
Description: The process of lifting the projector is to lift one corner of the projector to create some slack in the chain. Then hook an S-Hook between the chain links. My wife said "Ready" when she was ready to remove the S-Hook from the previous links and move it up 2 links. That was my clue to lift the projector at the corner. When she had it removed and re-hooked two links higher, she said "Done" and that was my clue to stop lifting. I only had to lift for 3-5 seconds at a time. Even lifting 1/4 the weight at a time, it is a heavy beast. I took off the last remaining 12 lb. lens for the rest of the way up.
