Handrail: My uncle says it looks like it came from a prostitution house. I think it looks OK. It's simply the original el-cheapo basement handrail with a 48 foot red velvet sock pulled over it. Recommend doing this in 12 foot sections as it's really hard to manage 48 feet of anything. We also tried to sew the entire 48 foot length and then turn it inside out! Boy was that stupid! Used a brad nailer on the bottom to hold the ruffles in place. |
