I've got a client that has 4 of these beasts. I've seen them, they are real, no scam.

One I believe has a blue deflection burn, so it may be a parts unit.

Not sure what the asking price is, but since they are impossible to find, I figured I'd see what the interest is.

They won't be $1K for sure, but I'll bet they'll be under $6K. From what I remember, the tubes are clean.

Post here rather than emailing me for now, I'll let everyone know more details once I know more..

Curt ... each 812's have three quads, splitters and eht's new style.

The electronic compart is substantially the same of the 808s.

OK, I talked to Mr Bob that's on here, and the customer. He's asking $3500 for a clean tube working set, and $1250 for one of the two sets that does not work.

Mr Bob can vouch for the tube condition, I personally have seen these sets 2 years ago, but didn't do a close inspection on them. Still the customer is a good guy, and isn't going to rip anyone off. FOB San Francisco area.

One of the nonworking sets has a burn on the blue tube. The blue tube may actually be missing, as I believe he sent it to VDC and never got it back. Not sure of the condition of the other nonworking set, nor what the problem is with it. I would strongly suggest buying one of the two nonworking sets along with one working one, for spare parts.

If someone is SERIOUSLY interested, email me, and I'll put you in touch with the seller. Pricing is dirt cheap for what you're getting IMHO.
